About:
Luke lived in Hanley for most of his elementary school days, as well as a small amount of time in Macrorie and Conquest. He later moved in Outlook in grade 7. Luke is the youngest of 3 siblings; he has one brother, Brock, who is a Conservation Officer based out of Creighton; 1 sister Becky, who is a LPN serving multiple First Nations and clinics in the Turtle Lake area. Both of his parents were both teachers, with both of their careers ending at Outlook High School. Most of Luke's school hobbies included playing hockey, basketball, volleyball and baseball.

Luke started working with the Town of Outlook in 2001 when he was offered a split position working at the Jim Kook RecPlex in the winter, and with the Public Works department as a Labourer for 3 years until he was offered a full time position with Public Works. During his time with Public Works, he learned equipment operations, and the basic water treatment operational tasks, while also working for the landfil for 2 years. In 2012, Luke was offered the position as the primary Water & Waste Water Operator for the town, and held that position until late 2014 when he went in to the acting role as Superintendent, which led to a permanent position as Superintendent until 2018. For a year, Luke steped down to the role of Public Works Foreman, and then went back in to the Superintendent role in 2019.

Luke is very thankful for all his mentors throughout the years for believing in him and teaching him everything that they knew about the various jobs within the town, and also to his current Public Works team for their dedication to their jobs within the town as well.
